Uno Uli

A fashion blogger, Uli Chan, pronounced as U-li, is quite the nostalgic young lady living in Singapore. Her nostalgia is expressed through her love of vintage fashion, which is influenced by her Shanghainese mother who has great style.

Being a creative thinker with a sentimental soul, Uli combined her passion for vintage fashion, dark music and nostalgia and started her fashion blog -  ‘ULIMALI’ - in 2011. Her insightful and personal blogging led her to win the Best Fashion Blog Award presented by Singapore Press Holdings Blog Awards in 2015. So of course, we had to have a chat with her!

By day, Uli is a digital marketing executive who delves in the digital advertising labyrinth. Social media and content creation are her work staples, but it’s not just a one finger action on the ‘post’ or ‘share’ button. Uli combines strategy and creativity to get to you online folks out there.

A little secret about Uli?
Besides being a fashion blogger, working professional and model, she is also a freelance photographer!

In a conforming cultural landscape like Singapore, vintage fashion is not exactly mainstream fashion. Yet Uli has showcased vintage fashion with effortless style and self-confidence on her blog. This attitude aligns with her conviction of encouraging people to dress sustainably by making vintage fashion relevant to a modern lifestyle.
