LOCAL DELIVERY (FURNITURE)


Our delivery charges includes the processing of your order, packing & handling and delivery (including assembly of products) to a location of your choice within Singapore.

Additional charges apply for deliveries

  • with no lift access or extra services e.g. sofa disposal, delivery to areas with limited accessibility such as lack of elevators, etc.

  • weekend and after hours

  • scheduling for missed delivery (re-delivery)

We do not provide delivery on Public Holidays.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the purchased items will fit through doors, staircases and lifts in their packaging before you place your order. Product dimensions are available on our website.

In the event that accessibility causes a delivery to be unsuccessful, no refunds or exchange will be allowed.

 

DELIVERY CHARGES AS BELOW:

Standard Weekday Delivery Charges
$30 ($3 for each additional item)

  • Monday - Friday

  • scheduled time slots of 11am-2pm; 1pm-4pm; 3pm-6pm

  • specific or fixed timing delivery e.g. 10 am or 3 pm are unavailable

  • time slot allocated for the delivery will only be advised 2-3 days before the scheduled date.

Weekend & After Hours Delivery Charges
$50 ($3 for each additional item)

  • Monday - Friday 6pm-9pm

  • Saturday - Sunday with scheduled time slots of 11am-2pm; 1pm-4pm; 3pm-6pm

  • specific or fixed timing delivery e.g. 10 am or 3 pm are unavailable

  • time slot allocated for the delivery will only be advised 2-3 days before the scheduled date.

Additional Charges:

  • Non-lift access or staircase access charges - $10 per storey / level

  • Re-delivery charges for missed delivery - $10


DELIVERY & RE-DELIVERY

Once your order is received, we will schedule a delivery slot subject to availability & according to your selected delivery preferences upon check out. You will then be advised of the scheduled delivery.
Customers may reschedule the delivery with no additional charges with minimum notice of 3 business days (Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm. Excluding Public Holidays) before the delivery date (subjected to the availability of delivery slots). We will charge an additional $10 for rescheduling within the 3 business days before delivery date.
If you happen to miss your delivery, re-delivery charge of $10 will be charged and will be subject to availability.

SELF-COLLECTION

Self-Collection is Monday to Friday by appointment only and is limited to selected items only. Self-collection is at Bukit Merah or postal code 159506. We will contact you within 1-2 business days to arrange self-collection.

DELAYED DELIVERY

Delivery time may be affected due to traffic condition, unfavourable weather and unforeseen circumstances, etc.
In such cases, the delivery team will make the best effort to notify the customer of any possible delays.
However, we will not be liable for such delays.

We reserve the right to change the delivery date due to any unforeseen circumstances and will act within our means to notify you at the soonest of any possible delays or difficulties. We will not be liable for any inconvenience, loss, damages, charges or expenses that may arise from any delays, postponements, incomplete or unfulfilled deliveries.

Overseas customers interested in purchasing Starchie Home products to be shipped outside of Singapore, is available to selected items only.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES


RETURNS & EXCHANGES

STARCHIE is happy to offer returns and exchanges within 14 days from the date of delivery with the following conditions:

  • Item(s) is returned in unused condition and in the original packaging

  • Returns will not be accepted if in our reasonable opinion, the item has become of unacceptable quality due to fair wear and tear; misuse; using it in an abnormal way; or failure to take reasonable care, etc.

  • Proof of purchase and photo of the defect(s) emailed to helpcare@starchie.net and we will contact you to schedule for collection.

  • Return & exchange policy does not apply to mattresses, custom orders (inclusive and not limited to special orders, customised upholstery items), promotional / clearance / sale items, display Items, items damaged through normal wear and tear.

  • A restocking fee of 20% will be deducted from the item value excluding delivery charges for all returns & exchanges. (Purchased item price - 20% restocking fee = Refunded amount)

  • Delivery charges applies for exchange items.

  • The value of returned item(s) will be credited to you within 14 days of receiving the item, via the same payment method used to make the payment or store credits, whichever you prefer. However, Starchie reserves the rights to change the mode of refund.

  • We reserve the right to refuse refunds & exchanges that do not meet the above conditions

 

How long does it take to process a return?

Paypal and credit card refunds usually take 5-10 business days.
Refunds may take up to 30 days to appear on your credit card statement.

 

CANCELLATION

If you change your mind and decide to cancel your order, please notify us within 48 hours from the date of purchase and there will be no additional charges incurred. All cancellation requests must be emailed to info@starchie.net.

All cancellation requests received after 48 hours will be subjected to the following cancellation fees for regular-priced items:Item(s) is returned in unused condition and in the original packaging.

  • Cancellation policy does not apply to custom orders (inclusive and not limited to special orders, customised upholstery items), promotional / clearance / sale items and display Items.

  • A restocking fee of 20% will be deducted from the item value excluding delivery charges for all cancellations. (Purchased item price - 20% restocking fee = Refunded amount)

PRODUCT WARRANTY

Starchie takes great care in producing furniture free of defective materials and workmanship. Warranty periods vary by product, commencing from the date of delivery and are defined below.

If, during the warranty period, a product is deemed defective due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace part(s).
This Warranty covers the replacement or repair of any product that has a manufacturing or material defect that is not the result of normal wear and tear, or a natural characteristic of the material used.

This Warranty is not transferable and any subsequent purchaser buys the product ‘as is’, is without the protection of the Warranty. The warranty does not cover products used for commercial purposes.

CLAIM PROCEDURE

LIMITATIONS & EXCEPTIONS NOT COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY

  • Damages by using detergents, abrasives or other harsh cleaning agents.

  • Damages resulting from negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidents: including but not limited to burns, cuts, scratches, tears, scuffs, watermarks, indentations or pet damage.

  • Products that are not intended for outdoor use but is used outdoors.

  • Any product modification not authorised by Starchie will void this limited warranty.

  • Assembled incorrectly.

  • This warranty does not cover items purchased as ‘Clearance / Display Pieces’ at the time of purchase.

  • Any item repaired or replaced under this Limited Warranty will be covered by the Limited Warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period only.

  • This warranty covers in respect of manufacturing defects detected within the warranty period, the cost of material components, replacement parts, labour and transportation charges.

  • Starchie’s decision on all issues relating to complaints as to defects either of workmanship or materials shall be final and conclusive. Any decision to repair or have part(s) replaced shall be at Starchie’s sole discretion.
